3. Semi-Metallic- Semi-Metallic Brake Pads are made by 30% to 65% metal, and are commonly made out of steel wool, wire, copper or other metal materials. They are considered to be very durable. These brake pads may also not function well in extreme, low temperatures.These brake pads are generally used on high performance and race cars.

Advantages of Semi Metallic Brake Pads- Semi Metallic Brake Pads are usually considerably cheaper than other type of brake pads. Semi metallic provide effective grip even when weather is cold. Semi metallic pads are recommended for most street driving and commercial truck applications. 

4. Non-Asbestos Organic- Non-Asbestos Brake Pads are generally made from organic materials including fiber, glass, rubber, and Kevlar. These pads are pretty quiet, but can wear faster and produce a lot of brake dust.

It contains short filaments of Synthetic man made mineral fibers and organic fibers with highly thermally stable “Novalak” Phenolic Powder Resin as a binder and fused in a matrix which contributes to the strength and performance in terms of Friction/ Wear properties. Suitable for use in front and Rear Axle Heavy Commercial Vehicle Drum Brake application. It can also be
used forTraiIer application.

Toughla HC AF 393 has excellent Fade and Wear resistance and good recovery characteristics.

2. Brake Lining T22HAF (Front and Rear Drum Brake application for HCV and Trailers)

Toughla T22HAF is a rigid moulded Non-Asbestos Friction Material in Dark Grey color and has short filaments of Synthetic man made mineral fibers and organic fibers with highly thermally stable “Novalak” Phenolic Powder Resin as a binder and fused in a matrix which contributes to the strength and performance in terms of Friction/ Wear properties. Suitable for use in front and Rear Axle Heavy Commercial Vehicle Drum Brake application. It can also be used for Trailer application.

Toughla T22HAF has Low Fade and Wear resistance properties upto a maximum temperature 350°C and good recovery characteristics.

3. Brake Lining T33HAF ( Front and Rear Drum Brake application For HCV, Trailers & LCV)

Toughla T33HAF is a Non-Asbestos Friction Material. It is a rigid moulded product in Dark Grey color and has short filaments of Synthetic man made mineral fibers, Ceramic fibers and Synthetic Potassium Fibers with Highly thermally stable “Novalak” Phenolic Powder Resin as a binder and fused in a matrix which contributes to the strength and performance in terms of excellent torque characteristics even at high speeds and Friction/ Wear properties stable up to 300°C. Suitable for use in front and Rear Axle Heavy Commercial Vehicle Drum Brake application. It can also be used for Trailer application. T33HAF can also be used for Light Commercial Vehicle Front and Rear Hydraulic Brake Application.

Toughla T33HAF has excellent Torque, Fade, Recovery and Wear resistance characteristics. It also has good Wet Recovery Characteristics.
